The unseen soldier: acknowledging our reviewers
Reviewing manuscripts is an integral part of the publication process to maintain quality, integrity and scientific rigour. Reviewing however is time consuming and hard work, with little or no acknowledgement. As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Spine Surgery, myself along with the editorial team wish to express our profound appreciation to the spine surgeons, physicians and researchers whom have helped critique the many submissions, and assist in making these submissions of the highest quality for publication, and in doing so, support to make JSS the success it is today (available online: https://cdn.amegroups.cn/static/public/jss-2021-3-01.pdf).
